Cristiano Ronaldo didn’t seem happy with the substitution made by Maurizzio Sarri in the match against Milan.
The coach removed the Portuguese superstar from the game in the 55th minute, which had not happened before in Serie A (but was also replaced in the Champions League), and his reaction was clearly captured by the cameras.
The 34-year-old was reportedly frustrated and headed for the tunnel without stopping at his teammates in the reserve.
Sky Sport Italia reports that the Portuguese left the stadium even before the match ended, just three minutes before the referee’s final whistle.
He was able to see at least the goal of victory, which was scored by the man who replaced it – Paulo Dybala.
